Fused Glass Poppy Wave 20 x 5cm

A feeling of summer in a fused glass wave designed to sit on a windowsill, mantle or shelf.

This fused glass wave starts with a sheet of clear glass which is then sprinked with a base coat of powdered glass. This is then topped with crushed glass (frit) and slices of murrine glass flowers and stringers to complete the meadow effect. After a tack fuse in the kiln which leaves a lovely raised textured surface the glass is returned to the kiln to be slumped into this beautiful wave.

Perfect with the sun shining through.
